Soft and Fluffy Milk Bread: A Homemade Favorite

Warm 1 cup of milk until lukewarm, then mix with 2 tablespoons of sugar and 2 teaspoons of active dry yeast in a bowl.

Let the mixture sit for 5-10 minutes until foamy.

In a large bowl, combine the yeast mixture with 3 cups of all-purpose flour, 1 teaspoon of salt, and 2 tablespoons of softened butter.

Knead the dough for 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.

Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise in a warm place for 1-1.5 hours or until doubled in size.

Punch down the dough, shape it into a loaf, and place it in a greased loaf pan.

Cover and let it rise again for 30-45 minutes.

Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25-30 minutes until golden brown. Enjoy fresh and warm!
