Homemade Ciabatta Bread: A Crusty and Chewy Delight
In a bowl, mix 3 cups of bread flour, 1 and 1/4 teaspoons of instant yeast, and 1 and 1/4 teaspoons of salt.
Add 1 and 1/2 cups of lukewarm water and stir until a sticky dough forms.
Cover and let the dough rise for 12-18 hours at room temperature.
Transfer the dough to a floured surface, then fold it over a few times.
Divide the dough into two equal portions and shape each into a rectangle.
Place the dough rectangles on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
Let the dough rise for another 1-2 hours until doubled in size.
Bake at 450°F (230°C) for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and crusty.
