Classic Shrimp Scampi: A Quick and Flavorful Dish

Cook 8 oz of linguine according to package instructions.

Meanwhile, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil and 2 tablespoons of butter in a skillet.

Add 1 pound of peeled and deveined shrimp, cooking until pink, then remove from skillet.

 In the same skillet, sauté 4 minced garlic cloves and a pinch of red pepper flakes.

Pour in 1/4 cup of white wine and juice of 1 lemon, simmering until reduced.

Stir in cooked pasta, shrimp, and 1/4 cup of chopped parsley.

Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Serve hot with a sprinkle of grated Parmesan cheese.
