Classic Hummus Recipe: A Creamy and Flavorful Dip

Drain and rinse a can of chickpeas, then add to a food processor.

Add 1/4 cup of tahini, 2 tablespoons of lemon juice, and 2 cloves of garlic.

Pour in 2 tablespoons of olive oil and season with salt and cumin to taste.

Blend until smooth, scraping down the sides as needed.

 While blending, slowly add 2-4 tablespoons of water until desired consistency is reached.

Taste and adjust seasoning, adding more lemon juice or salt if needed.

Serve hummus drizzled with olive oil and sprinkled with paprika.

Enjoy with pita bread, vegetables, or as a spread on sandwiches.
