The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office is actively investigating a shooting incident that occurred last night, resulting in serious injuries to a Destin man at Sea Glass Apartments on Commons Drive around 7:30 Friday night. The victim, a 60-year-old man driving a white truck, sustained multiple gunshot wounds. The suspected shooter, who alerted deputies from inside an apartment at the complex, is cooperating with authorities. The motive for the shooting remains unknown and is under investigation.
At present, the victim is undergoing treatment at a local hospital, and his condition is being closely monitored.
