Nolan Barr Car Accident: Early Tuesday morning, a devastating vehicle accident on Carlton Drive in Cape Cod resulted in the death of a teenager and injuries to five others.
Details of the Accident
According to Mashpee Police, seven teenagers were traveling in a Toyota RAV4 when the driver lost control of the SUV and collided with a tree around 2 a.m., just south of Swain Circle. All occupants were between the ages of fifteen and seventeen, hailing from Mashpee and Falmouth.
Casualties and Injuries
Two occupants sustained life-threatening injuries and were rushed to nearby hospitals. Tragically, one of them, a 17-year-old from Mashpee, succumbed to his injuries later.

“Our thoughts and prayers are with the victim and his family at this time,” said Mashpee Police Chief Scott Carline in a video statement. The local community, deeply affected by the loss, shared memories and condolences.
Frances Delgado, who worked with the victim, remarked, “His parents are wonderful people,” reflecting on the tight-knit nature of the community.
